Hope Is Alive

Hope is freezing
Tethered delicately
With the strings of silk
To all of us

Hope is sobbing
Slipping and snowing
From the hands
Of all mankind

But Hope is relentless
Flowing through the cracks
Struggling but persevering
And finding ways to stay Alive
