Memories

Your love was a song,
that stayed in my heart,
Forever long
Your face was a light,
In my life ,so bright.
But those moments had gone,
And you left me to mourn.
I still remember that winter,
So cold and dead.
So proud was your face,
But lying on the grave.
I remember those days,
Your hands on my face.
When you sulked your pain,
But never showed it on your face.
I remember those days
When your agony was so deep
That stopped you to sleep.
But you bestowed your life
To see my eternal smile.
I still see you in the trance
In the fog of my memories
Standing in the meadow
And smiling on my shadow
Your message for me is Clear
To live your life, my dear!
Tears and joy will come and go,
Your life for others is the motto.
Your sacrifice is a sunshine
That will guide my mind,
On this path of my life,
On the path beyond this life.

P.S- In the memory of my mother who died after suffering from kidney failure, few years ago.

This is very beautiful. Writing helps the grief. I lost my mom to cancer 9 years ago & I still cry. The pain doesn’t go away, we just learn to live with it. Blessings ❤

This is very satisfying for me ! To share your grief as well. This is how life should be in a better way, sharing each others’ happiness and sadness!
