Skepticism is good. In order to know the answer , you need to question. Our sages in the Vedic period were great skeptic and so they spend their lifetime in search of knowledge, light or truth and achieved a lot. That is how we got our country’s name Bharat ( India) in hindi meaning- the place where the people are always in the pursuit of light in every phase of time. The modern world try to understand the phenomenon around us with the help of materialistic science, maybe they don’t understand spirituality and how it works. I strongly believe that there is a connection, a duality. We just need to change our perception and conception to look much deeper, within to find our answers. I know for some this is quite a silly way of thinking but these connections cannot be ignored.
Karma and the law of motion–
Karma is your action, your deeds which effects your future. Your good Karma leads towards future happiness and your bad Karma leads towards future sufferings. What goes around , comes around in the wheel of life in the universe. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, that’s what it says in the modern world.
Meditation and the law of gravitation–
In the Vedic period the sages did extraordinary things like lifting things above the ground just by focusing, but its a myth, how they did that. Meditation is a common practice to enhance your focusing power and even the West has embraced this in the form of Yoga. Your thoughts have mass( maybe negligible), so law of gravity can be applied on this and so it has the power to attract to bring changes in our lives. We enhance that power through meditation. When large number of people in a Church, temple or mosque concentrate on idols or some other thing, they hormonize the mass of their thoughts to create a much greater mass or force to effect our surroundings. Sometimes those blessings work. The noetic science is working on the same concept.
Every body in the universe attracts each other with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them, that’s what we call in modern terms.

I consider myself an agnostic, because I just don’t know. I do like to believe that energy is a constant and can affect things, and this post sort of summarizes the feelings I couldn’t put into words. I do strongly believe in the scientific process, but I also believe that the two are not incompatible. Thank you for sharing.
I can understand your thinking. Its good to be skeptic! Just follow your good work as you have been doing so far. this will be your worship!
Thanks for your understanding, it is nice to read view on the subject without being pushed!
Piyush, i am sure the parts are going to be a good read.. I would insist for a part 0 where you give bird eye view of whole..
this one has come up great..! ๐
Thanks PH! I think i will sum up in the last.
That’s cool as well.. ๐
One of the most interesting posts I’ve ever found on the internet, if not the most interesting. There is a lot to think about in this short piece of text, and will have to chew on it for a while. I am not quite sure what you mean by skepticism, since in the European tradition, this term may refer to philosophers related in some way to Plato’s Academy or perhaps later on in the period of European history, a more general possibility to question things. But what you write about โmaterialismโ and the spiritual world, and how it relates to your beautiful country, India, is very interesting. Iโve been thinking about this for a very long time. Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks a lot for reading, still looking for other connections! Not very expert in this but trying my best. Thank you once again!
Mercy, that photo is to live for :P. Very informative and thought provoking post, I absolutely believe in karma and its ability to affect our decisions. For some reason, I always thought of karma as bad and good, eh as good. It is interesting that you show two sides of karma. Meditation is powerful, from wondering what the heck the cartoon characters in Dragon Balls practised and having a bit of that feeling now, I feel it is amazing what the mind can achieve [it is dangerous as well]. If the other posts are as soothing and attractive as part 1 [I am sure they will], I am definitely looking out for the others.
Dragons ball cartoons, haha! Great to have your interest here. I am looking forward to do it again.
DB was the deal, I rushed home from school to watch and I still to catch an episode every now and then. Yes, ready to read.
Interesting post. ๐
Spirituality and science are interrelated. It is often said in spiritual terms that science is only a half circle while spirituality is full circle. Eventually science is to merge with it.
Yes exactly Amit, the limit of science is the beginning of spirituality. Thanks a lot for reading!
I love this!
Thank you for reading! Still some more parts to go.
Looking forward to reading more! ๐
Thankyou for reminding me that Jesus taught the concept of karma. It troubles me to believe that he taught love and godly punishment in the same breath. The truth of karma can be seen in the reality of simple examples such as, ‘eating and drinking excessively harms one’s health’. That is a statistical fact. I agree that science and spirituality a two sides of the same coin.
yes exactly! I feel great to make your faith more stronger. tHanks a lot for reading!
Well, this was very interesting. Looking forward to the next ๐
Thank you very much for reading! Will post next very soon.
