A Place which Feels like Home

Every now and then we feel the urge to stop doing whatever we are doing and get away from the rat race of the cities. The tension, the chaos, the worries all take a toll on us. That’s the perfect time to connect to mother nature, the wilderness, the place from where our species evolved.

That’s what I thought one month ago and decided for the Buran Ghati trek which starts from the janglik, a remote Himalayan village in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

I will write about the adventure and challenges we faced during the trek soon. Till then enjoy the poetic video i posted above.

The sweetness of the meadows,
Rustling through the misty green.

Walk as if
Your feet want to feel
The pain and the fun
Struggling through the snow.

Walk and explore
‘cause your heavy breaths
In the mountains
Infuse life you never knew…

I shot this video during my trek to Kuari Pass and I was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the Himalayas in Autumn season. It’s difficult to experience the same by watching this video but i hope my poetry did little magic to evoke the same emotions which I felt during the trek.

Never Give Up

There are times when you really feel that you can’t walk anymore, you want to give up.

But then a voice comes from nature, it pushes you further and it rewards you with it’s charm.

Suddenly your energy comes back and you don’t want to stop anymore…

Yes, if you walk long and if you feel like you are going nowhere then don’t stop, ’cause you are very near to something.

Something, which may not be your goal but it will give you solace, it will give you strength, it will give you contentment.

So keep climbing and never give up.

The Nature’s Portal

An artificial world,

A concrete world i.e. unreal!


There’s a Portal out there,
Portal to Peace and tranquillity.

A life full of dreams ,
And no sorrows.

But is this possible?
A life without hiccups,
And no loss ?

Or do you feel,
The wonders of life,
Without falling down?

No, absolutely not.
Your joys, your happiness,
Your ecstasy and every high
Thing feels wonderful ‘cause

You once tasted the bitterness
Of sorrows, of defeats,
Of losses.

Life is an adventure ,
Once you go down,
And then you go up.
Happiness to sorrows,
Sorrows to pain,
Pain to contentment,
And finally
contentment to joy…

When The Sun Goes down

Sunsets are always magical. You work hard throughout the day and when it’s time to go back home, you are immersed in the feeling of contentment.

You feel relaxed, automatically feel positive vibes and when you see the sun going down, you feel like you belong to this universe.

You have a part to play and no matter how vast this universe is, your presence and work will create a difference in this world.

A Universe comes to life,
When the sun goes down.
The stars swim with the moon,
And Dream fills them in its pond.

There’s a chaos building up,
That might grab your life.
You have to sail on calmly,
And feel the setting Sun.

Love sails long,
And it’s wave reach the shore.
Let life sail with that wave,
And your purpose shines at Shore…

Worries pushes you deeper,
In the whirlpool of anxiety,
Forces you to panic,
Until you lose your mind!

Things that has no presence,
It is only feeding your mind,
What’s the point of those worries,
When they may not even arise!

Let these moments come,
Close your eyes and wait,
Let them come to you, inhale
And exhale them without a trace!

When panic hits you,
And you get lost with anxiety,
Remember to slow down and feel
The moment that shines on Now.
