Life is a lesson

Are you a lifelong learner?

Gulmarg

From the moment you are in the womb until the moment you take your last breath, you keep learning—either deliberately or unknowingly.

When you are a child, everything seems magical. Every step you take feels almost godlike. A few years later comes youth. It fills you with boundless energy, but at the same time demands tremendous effort.

Then come disappointments, frustrations, and responsibilities that shape your life in ways you never imagined. Sometimes they break you, sometimes they build you, but most of the time, they teach you.

Old age has not yet come for me, but I see it in my father and grandfather. It may limit you physically, but psychologically you become stronger after learning life’s many lessons. You become a teacher, yet there are still countless things left to learn.

Eventually, you understand the essence of life:

To live is to learn, and to die is to stop learning.
