A World in a Room

Quarantined in a room
With many smiling friends
Bob asks me to sit,
“Forget your worries, kid

Simon loves to spin
Blowing air with a grin
He loves to keep me cold
A brother whose story untold

There’s a Mattress
In the room
Who loves to make me sleep
A mother’s lap to see dreams

A world full of souls
A book-shelf full of stories
Friends like Bob the chair
Selfless Simon, the fan who dares.

Loneliness is just a myth
For me, it’s all about grit
There’s a life in every corner
There’s a world inside a room

The Dance of the Blue

Self clicked

From the extreme chaos
Around a Yellow star
Dust and smoke
Churned with gravity

From afflictions to bliss
The life took shape
A rare miracle happened
With the birth of the blue

The Blue is still spinning
Dancing on the tune
Celebrating the bliss
Along with the moon

A dance in the wild
Around a yellow bonfire
Ignoring our sins
May Surpass our existence

Sharing Happiness

Self clicked

Trapped behind the walls
Uncertain about the future
Happiness may seem obscured

But Happiness is relentless
May even defeat time
Happiness resides where there is light

Memories of the past
Etched in our minds
May bring a flashing smile

Happiness is never alone
Seldom lingers inside solitary doors
Happiness is sharing or to share is happiness

Happiness is real when shared– Christopher McCandless

I would like to Thank Tanya Sheik( https://abuddingspark.wordpress.com/ ) for nominating me for Awesome Blogger award and Vincent Ehindero Award (quite sometime ago)

I would also like to thank Naveen(https://navinspoems.com/2020/04/17/the-t-tour/ ) for nominating me for an award(I am sorry I completely forgot it).

I generally avoid questions related to these awards, so forgive me for that. Do follow their works.

These are some of the wonderful people I came across on wordpress platform. Though I can’t thank enough to all my followers and all the bloggers out there who make this place an awesome one.

Sharing is the best gift we can give to each other and bloggers know it well. In these testing times Let’s hold our hands virtually and spread happiness to fight with this pandemic together.

And make this nightmare, a little less severe by writing and sharing our works.

Keep Sharing Happiness!

A Deep Slumber

A nightmare stretching
Reality fading to illusion
Hopelessness taking a toll
On all the melancholic souls

Craving for a crack
To seep into a deep Slumber
Where the aching souls
Cleanse their burning core

May this ordeal
Squeeze in time
And when we wake up
We see the other side

A Writer’s Dream

Self clicked

Words etched on a paper
Emotions sewed in space-time fabric
Feelings then travel
Glowing on an embellished paper

A Writer’s Dream
Is his words echoing
Forever with the Symphony
Soothing the cosmos eternally

A thread from his heart
The marks which ever last
Etched on a soul’s deepest core
His words embellished on paper

Flickering Light

Miles ahead
Through the pitch darkness
I focused hard
To see a flickering light.
A ray of hope
In a world, so doomed
I stumbled with bruises
To embrace that flickering light.
A distant dream
With darkened screams
A swamp, full of struggles
A tunnel to that flickering light.

Why we need God…

In order to know him
You have to become a disbeliever
Walk through a sceptical path
Through the maze of darkness
Seek the realm of science
Surrendering to knowledge
Because it is only
Going through darkness
You might find him
And find light

When we were kids, we had so much faith on our parents. They were our Gods and no matter what, they protected us, fulfilled our needs. We had so much happiness in their company.

But as we grow up and get expose to knowledge of our surroundings, we tend to lose that faith with which we were born. We still love our parents but only able to convince ourselves in one or the other way that God doesn’t exist.

The reason behind our sudden disbelieving is our failures, our loss, our defeats. Sometimes, some of us believe so much in science that we think that there is no need of God in the realms of laws of nature.

But believe me or not the first step towards believing is disbelieving. You have to seek the realm of science in order to understand the nature of any supreme being if he exist because maybe we are still in the phase of that dark tunnel.

We are going through a dark time, a pandemic which has defeated our knowledge of science. We still are far away from that ultimate truth, knowledge or science that can fight these situations effectively.

Till then a person who is on his death bed, the only solace for him is his belief on God. God is peace to him, he maybe a state of mind but it is definitely our cure of grief.

Therefore we need God like never before. So all sceptics in the world, maybe you are going in the right direction. Just follow science and have respect for everyone because it is only through humbleness we can see and understand clearly.

Hold on to…

Hold on to
Your beautiful reveries.
This nightmare is melting
With your tears, Quenching.

Love may not exist
Without tearful loss
Life is an Adventure
Comfort is chaos

Surrender yourself
To the tune of cosmos
Whose every cataclysm
Is the beginning of order
