A man has at least one weakness inside him. But we consider that one weakness as the center of our lives and cling on to that until we lose all sense of self belief .
It takes a mountain of courage and an ocean full of wisdom to be contented with your weakness or to surpass that through your relentless efforts.
Both the options can lead you in the positive direction but it depends on how you perceive success since we are so obsessed with success !
Our limitations should never suppress us but it should push us even harder to achieve more than we could ever achieve.
But if we fail after all those efforts, then our heart should be wise enough to embrace contentment. After all in the end contentment is our last Solace, it is our last resort !
In contentment ,we find our strength, in contentment we embrace our final wisdom !
The basis of all relationships is expectations. Our expectations from beloved, children, parents, family and friends.
A man is truly able to love the one who fulfils his expectations. But the expectations are destined to be broken.
It takes birth in the mind of humans and that’s why it very often becomes mystery to others. Even if someone desires to fulfil the expectations of his dear one ,he is never able to fulfil it completely.
And from there struggle takes birth, every relationship is transformed into struggle. But if humans do not make expectations the basis of their relationships and embrace relationships the way it is, isn’t it true that life will become flawless with only happiness and prosperity?
No ,life is not that simple. It is complex, it is like a filter full of chemicals through which an impure soul goes through. And after death it comes out through that filter, purer than before.
When there is nothing left in the world worth seeing then the man looks towards God!
The making of time cannot be avoided. Only our sense of understanding it can change.
So quickly Year 2020 brought August to us that we hardly prepared ourselves to welcome it. Infact, nobody seems to care about it’s coming. The ravages 2020 brought to us is far from over.
Since we are running slow with all the fears engulfing us amid Covid 19 pandemic, we are hardly noticing the ticking of clock. But the time will not stop even if we cease to exist.
People are fed up now and the virus is peaking. They want to enjoy the freedom though time and again they are jolted by the fear of the virus which brings their sense back.
A certain incident happened which brought a rare smile on many faces. I was outside a grocery store and the keeper was struggling to persuade the crowd to maintain social distancing, they made a herd like bees.
They were relentless and stupidly ignoring the virus looming around them. I took it on myself to teach them a lesson. I marched towards the most belligerent one who was arguing at the top of his voice. I told him to calm down and follow social distancing as it is for everyone’s safety.
But then he confronted me and asked, “Excuse me gentleman, who are you to teach me wisdom? “
I chuckled and observed many faces attacking me with their looks though the shopkeeper looked at me with hope, the hope of saving him from that chaos.
I replied, “I am no one but a victim “. Everyone got confused, they became curious and I prepared myself to give them a final blow.
I finally revealed, “I have just returned from 14 days of quarantine”.
The words echoed like fire through kerosene. As soon as I said it the most belligerent one jumped few feet backwards and the others followed too. The entire crowd was shell shocked.
They were suddenly haunted by the virus. I became their virus though I was lying. My weapon was fear which brought their senses back.
It brought smiles on the face of the shopkeeper and many onlookers. And everyone came back to their civilised best and followed social distancing .
I guess that’s the purpose of fear. It really makes us feel alive. It injects a sudden thrill which we need from time to time in order to comprehend life in its purest form. That’s the true message of this pandemic, slow down, amend your ways and feel the precious life which we ignore very often.
When you get so engrossed in something which can either be a job in hand or the thing which you love to do most, you lose track of time.
Or in other words you don’t feel the passing of time and you hardly care about it’s existence when you are lost in your current job. You exist in the ‘Now’.
This is living in the present when you don’t worry about the future and don’t regret over your past. This is how a life should be lived.
A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future – Albert Einstein
A potpourri of grains rustled With afflictions in a void, so vast. The grains of the stardust Glistened with pride, They were all alike. Those similar grains of stardust Contrived humanity who made boundaries The divisions of religion, the difference of colour, Black, brown, white, yellow. Everyone will go down the same drain To become the similar Handful of stardust again!
Churning in a pool Invisible in our brain It’s mystery beyond science The teacher of mankind The Light from within The Light from the unknown Emerging from the dark Consciousness is the word The word that guided us In our journey, so far.
Sailing precariously On the surface. Stuck in the dark swamps Of restlessness. Intimidated by the howls Of my raging heartbeat. Oh my patience! Hang in there On the fringes ‘cause it is you my Angel Who will show me the light At the brink of my dwindling hope At the far end of my Howling nightmare!
Life has been quite awful for many people these days but nothing Worst than the adversities of the poor labourers in India.
They have been over utilised, exploited by the capitalists for building their empire and now they have been dumped on the road to suffer with no food, no help.
All they want is to return home when the world is stagnant with no work around. My heart grieves for them.
Poverty speaks….
My sweat built Your soaring Castles I gulped tremendous pain To Fulfil your worldly desires And I didn’t complain Even for a second For the tiny bread You thrown at me in return But now when I want you To stand by me You only discarded me I am bruised, But I have not lost hope I will walk forever on the road The place where my heart is The place called home. My sufferings are not new May not shake your inner core Because maybe I am poor And poverty is only meant To lie on the road and suffer!
Be grateful to what youhave and be an Angel for the needy!
Sacred is the noble thoughts lying all around us in oblivion.
Respect and Humility are the first steps towards believing in God. Without this you can’t proclaim yourself a Believer.
We all are designed and coded to see and embrace the goodness all around us. Everything else disturbs us. Violence intimidates us. Disrespect hurts us. Hate blinds us. So why we choose to deter from our path?
Is it the law of nature? Entropy or chaos always increases in the universe. Is it true with humans as well? When we are born we are the purest ones, most civilised ones. And as time passes we become corrupt?
No this can’t be true. Yes some people choose wrong paths. But some, in spite of their painful experiences are adamant. They are never shaken, pushed or knocked from their sacred, virtuous path.
It’s only because of these people, there is still order in this world. So we have to focus and emulate goodness all around us and avoid everything hateful. Because love and respect is the only way forward.
