When there is nothing left in the world worth seeing then the man looks towards God!
The making of time cannot be avoided. Only our sense of understanding it can change.
So quickly Year 2020 brought August to us that we hardly prepared ourselves to welcome it. Infact, nobody seems to care about it’s coming. The ravages 2020 brought to us is far from over.
Since we are running slow with all the fears engulfing us amid Covid 19 pandemic, we are hardly noticing the ticking of clock. But the time will not stop even if we cease to exist.
People are fed up now and the virus is peaking. They want to enjoy the freedom though time and again they are jolted by the fear of the virus which brings their sense back.
A certain incident happened which brought a rare smile on many faces. I was outside a grocery store and the keeper was struggling to persuade the crowd to maintain social distancing, they made a herd like bees.
They were relentless and stupidly ignoring the virus looming around them. I took it on myself to teach them a lesson. I marched towards the most belligerent one who was arguing at the top of his voice. I told him to calm down and follow social distancing as it is for everyone’s safety.
But then he confronted me and asked, “Excuse me gentleman, who are you to teach me wisdom? “
I chuckled and observed many faces attacking me with their looks though the shopkeeper looked at me with hope, the hope of saving him from that chaos.
I replied, “I am no one but a victim “. Everyone got confused, they became curious and I prepared myself to give them a final blow.
I finally revealed, “I have just returned from 14 days of quarantine”.
The words echoed like fire through kerosene. As soon as I said it the most belligerent one jumped few feet backwards and the others followed too. The entire crowd was shell shocked.
They were suddenly haunted by the virus. I became their virus though I was lying. My weapon was fear which brought their senses back.
It brought smiles on the face of the shopkeeper and many onlookers. And everyone came back to their civilised best and followed social distancing .
I guess that’s the purpose of fear. It really makes us feel alive. It injects a sudden thrill which we need from time to time in order to comprehend life in its purest form. That’s the true message of this pandemic, slow down, amend your ways and feel the precious life which we ignore very often.
I am grateful to all the people who gave so much to me in spite of my ignorance. I am grateful to all the things nature has given to me in spite of my apathy.
Though I will never be satisfied and desire for more because it is my weakness to be seduced by worldly things. And for that, forgive me. I am just a mere soul trying to outshine the dark!

When you get so engrossed in something which can either be a job in hand or the thing which you love to do most, you lose track of time.
Or in other words you don’t feel the passing of time and you hardly care about it’s existence when you are lost in your current job. You exist in the ‘Now’.
This is living in the present when you don’t worry about the future and don’t regret over your past. This is how a life should be lived.
A happy man is too satisfied with the present to dwell too much on the future – Albert Einstein
Panting and sweating Against the towering hill Persisting till pinnacle Keep your will By your side Because every breath Would feel suicide Pleasure of life Is your courage, uphill Winning is happiness And losing is contentment
Got wet in the Mist of time The pages became yellow Flipping through the phases of life All Soaked in emotions Love, Loss and Passion The Diary of an old man
