Blending Science with Philosophy- Part 1

Skepticism is good. In order to know the answer , you need to question. Our sages in the Vedic period were great skeptic and so they spend their lifetime in search of knowledge, light or truth and achieved a lot. That is how we got our country’s name Bharat ( India) in hindi meaning- the place where the people are always in the pursuit of light in every phase of time. The modern world try to understand the phenomenon around us with the help of materialistic science, maybe they don’t understand spirituality and how it works. I strongly believe that there is a connection, a duality. We just need to change our perception and conception to look much deeper, within to find our answers. I know for some this is quite a silly way of thinking but these connections cannot be ignored.

Karma and the law of motion–

Karma is your action, your deeds which effects your future. Your good Karma leads towards future happiness and your bad Karma leads towards future sufferings. What goes around , comes around in the wheel of life in the universe. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, that’s what it says in the modern world.

Meditation and the law of gravitation–

In the Vedic period the sages did extraordinary things like lifting things above the ground just by focusing, but its a myth, how they did that. Meditation is a common practice to enhance your focusing power and even the West has embraced this in the form of Yoga. Your thoughts have mass( maybe negligible), so law of gravity can be applied on this and so it has the power to attract to bring changes in our lives. We enhance that power through meditation. When large number of people in a Church, temple or mosque concentrate on idols or some other thing, they hormonize the mass of their thoughts to create a much greater mass or force to effect our surroundings. Sometimes those blessings work. The noetic science is working on the same concept.
Every body in the universe attracts each other with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them, that’s what we call in modern terms.

A Letter To My Reader

Hello Friend, Life sometimes become very difficult to lead. When you are happy and things are going in your way, you want to enjoy every moment of it and you don’t want that moment to pass. But my dear friend, happiness is a very rare commodity which do not last eternally. Bad time will also come and will shake you from the inside very badly but you are not suppose to give up. One of the greatest Roman philosopher, Cicero had rightly said, “Whoever is brave is a man of great soul”. You should follow his words, you should learn from the words of greats, you should learn from the nature, the earth and the sky. You should be like water in difficult times and flow like a river on rough, and difficult path very smoothly. Like water, transform yourself into ice in extreme cold and in extreme summer, transform yourself into vapor to reach the sky and come back on earth in the form of rain to slake the thirst of livings. In short, you should learn to mould yourself according to the difficult situations like water and face every difficult situation with courage. You should learn to become tough like earth who had seen the worst days of her life, from being a ball of fire to a ball of ice but she never complained about that and at the same time she sacrificed every day to see you alive. My dear friend life is very short , do not panic in difficult times, face every difficulty with courage. Life is like a war and you are suppose to fight it till the end , till your last breath. Model Dependent Realism.

We most often in our lives ask this question: What is reality? Do we play any role in it and why most of the time we do not agree with others in explaining reality?

 

Philosophically, we see the Universe the way it is because we exist. Our existence is reality and every other thing in this Universe is illusion. All of us have our own version of reality and there is no absolute reality which is true to everyone in this world. This notion had already been proved by Quantum Physics which is the base of almost all modern technologies. We not only observe history but we also take part in it, change its characteristics and perceive it as a different reality with the help of particles like photon. This is what quantum physics says which is at microscopic level. But some of us say that at macroscopic level the reality is different and objects do not behave like subatomic particles. Living beings are made of cells and there are millions of cells in our body. The behavior or characteristics of the being is the probabilistic behavior of all the cells which is impossible to determine and so we all think differently. Reality is a state of mind and hence we can say that reality exists in probabilities and so changes from model to model or from person to person. This is what is known as Model dependent realism according to famous scientist Stephen Hawkins. But apart from this, there is one more problem when we include dark energy and dark matter. Through recent discoveries, it had been found that approximately there is only five percent matter which is visible or observable to us and the rest is dark matter and dark energy which do not interact with the matter we see in this universe. This dark energy and matter make galaxies and is also accelerating the expansion of the universe and we can’t observe it because it do not interact with the matter we see or observe. So once again reality is hidden as we are having knowledge of only five percent of our universe.

We are like sleeping in the world of dreams and our lives are just illusions. Whether we would be able to know about the truth or not in the future but one thing is for sure that we have the power of conscience to understand things and it will always guide us towards right path. Till then our quest is on.

There lived a restless soul
In the mist of time,
Who was in the quest of truth of life.
He started his journey
in the world of darkness,
in the world of sufferings
and in the world of ignorance.
He searched for glory
and searched for signs,
But he struggled to find
the eternal sunshine.
All hopes were fainting,
all joy was lost
And he waited for the miracle
from the sky above.
Then a light came
from a sage, he met.
The truth is felicity
in doing for others,
The victory is Karma
and not in its result,
The felony is idleness
and not endeavours,
The truth is perseverance,
the sage said.
He took the light
and decided to spread,
And he washed the miseries
and pain of others.
He rose and fell
but never got success,
But his joy was Karma
and not its result.
One day he faced
the question of life,
Either to save the life
or to live with regret?
A decision to make
that no one would forget!
Then a warrior rose
to show the world,
To live for others
and to die for others,
Is the ultimate goal
and the joy of soul.
At the brink of death,
he got the glimpse of past,
It was the glorious life
which he got at last.
And then he perished saving a life ,
Finding peace in grave ,
and content below,
Making pride and honour his pillow.
In time , people will praise
his act of sacrifice,
his act of Karma
and his act of divine.
He sacrificed his life to give life,
But people made him immortal by telling-

The Duality of God

               We understand the phenomenon of light with the help of its duality ( the wave nature and the particle nature). In the same way we can try to understand God with the help of its duality i.e. its materialistic nature and its spiritualistic nature. The materialistic science is the modern science or the observable science which is the base of all technologies in this world. The spiritualistic science is the science of conscience, theology and philosophy .

We are very advance in materialistic science but are we advance in spiritualistic science? The answer is no but our ancestors were advanced in spiritualistic science so can we say that we are  more advanced than our ancestors?

Our ancestors specially in the Vedic era had the power of focus or meditation and they were able to achieve anything impossible with the help of focus. According to noetic science , our thoughts have mass. So if our thoughts have mass then it follows Newton’s law of gravitation according to which , every body in the universe attracts any other body unless and until an external force acts on it. We have heard that our  ancient gurus or sages had a strong power of focus that means the mass of their thoughts must have been greater than ours and so they were able to lift anything or were able to do anything which we call miracle just by strong attracting power of focus.

The meditation also has a healing power which makes the pineal gland of brain to produce a wax like substance which heals or refreshes the old cells and therefore reduces the rate of aging. Maybe the elixir of life or somras according to hindu mythology is the power of meditation only.

With time our focusing power deteriorated and now with so many distractions in this technological world we hardly able to focus on anything and so our spiritual knowledge or power has lost. We totally are dependent on materialistic science and always try to find answers with the help of it but we don’t know that the truth can be found by uniting both spiritualistic and materialistic science. Maybe something which can’t  be explained by materialistic science can be explained by spiritual science but we don’t know because we are not advance in spiritualistic science. The limit of materialistic science is the place where the realm of spiritual science begin and we have yet not reached that place in materialistic science.

Faith is very important ,it checks corruption , it inspires us to be good and it inspires us to believe in something which we can’t see or prove. Therefore we should try to regain that lost wisdom of our forefathers and unite it with our knowledge of materialistic science to find answers about our creator . We will always get inspiration and the recent inspiration which we got is the discovery of God particle (Boson particle) which is a force particle and since every other particle in the universe evolve from this particle , that’s why we call it a creator. This is a big discovery in our quest of finding the truth but until then we should believe in God and follow the path  of Karma showed to us by our ancestors through holy books .
