The Wars We Fight

When Ego become eyes,
And the heart loses sight,
Then blood loses its worth
And is spilled with hate on earth

The brothers who fight wars,
And the fathers who lost all,
Become memories etched with tears,
That soaked in sacrifice and prayers.

The men who fight wars,
Never deserve to fight at all
They fight and die for love,
In the wars forced by their lords!

Mighty eye of the Karma,
Watching and weighing their sins,
Innocents will attain salvation,
While criminals would see their end!

A 20 Year old Dream

It all started with a reason, the twin towers were blown apart giving bruises to America. They decided to end this forever war giving hope to the world and innocent people of Afghanistan .

They pushed those demons, freed that land giving dreams to the people of Afghanistan. But they decided to leave ,maybe for a broader plan which we are not able to see.

Afghanistan is still a child who barely walked when….so much to say through this poetry

“They lifted me from the rubble
Of my doomed fate, a small child
Shivering with chaos around”,
My mother told my tale of hope.

A long nightmare ended ,
The reveries glowed with promise
To stay forever around,
When the Angels arrived, saved my life

I grew with those dreams ,
Limping through smoke of the past.
Freeing my motherland From
The shackles of those demons ,at last

But when it was time ,
To walk towards light,
They decided To leave
with our dreams in their heart !

Why they left us
In the hands of those demons?
Maybe there’s a reason in the darkness,
They want Us To find in time !

The Black Iron

He has been bent,
He has been forged,
He has been hammered like a
hot iron to obey the blacksmith.

How much he can take
Before his soul rages embers?
How far he can go
With his bones chiselled to weakness?

But fortitude is his strongest suit,
No fire can turn him into weak ashes,
Nothing can shake his unabated spirit,
‘cause he is an iron who absorbs thousand blows!

100 Selected Poems, John Keats: Collectable Hardbound edition

Sent here for a Reason

Mankind!
You are sent here
For a reason
In this ever increasing
Chaos of this universe
You are a moment
Of order
In the vast Disorder
Don’t be a catalyst
Of this increasing disaster
Live this moment in peace
And let love create
A greater ease
Mankind!
You are a precious jewel
An oasis in the
Desert of Cosmos
Let the chaos
Freeze in time
And this moment
Last a bit longer!

Religion Weeps

When time began
In the moment after creation
Earth was barren
And was in dark desolation

Then the Glory of God
Began with his compassion
He introduced his son
And humanity with Religion

But the humanity’s creed
Became his Greed
And he became blind
In the shadow of the dark

Epiphany of religion
Forgotten with time
Humanity killed himself
With his ignorance of light

Now Religion is weeping
With the corps of his son
Humanity is motionless
On the barren land

We

We are the
Puppets of unknown Divine
Our strings are attached
To space and time

Our existence is
Just a blink of moment
Just a tiny component
Of the infinite cosmos

Our lives are
Like a beautiful sunshine
In the chaotic
And dark universe

We are born
In a pandemonium
Of stars and planets
One dies and the other is born.

What is Patriotism?

Patriotism is the devotion
Of the soldier in the front
Patriotism is the integrity
Of the citizens upfront.

Patriotism seeps through
An honest hardworking man
Patriotism is the respect
For every human

Patriotism is the devotion
Towards your people and nation
Patriotism unites generation
It is the fight against discrimination

Book Review – An Absolutely Remarkable Thing

A very fast paced, emotional, gripping and thought provoking story written by Hank Green, brother of John Green. Probably that was the reason I bought this book but I ended up becoming a fan.

This book is so densely crafted like there is a whole new city inside a dream. There are puzzles to solve in that city which are at various locations, one of them is under the tile of a restaurant and it is very important to solve those puzzles because the whole world is dependent on that. You will be compelled to get sucked inside the imagination of the writer plus there is a twist in the end. Maybe a sequel is coming.

Fame comes with a lot of responsibility, it has the power to mould humanity. Protagonist, April May constantly fights with her inner turmoil and fears to create a meaning in this world by giving purpose to herself and humanity. Her struggles, her journey is so deeply written that you will fall in love with her in the end. This work of fiction is perfectly mixed with strong emotions and you will come across some enlightening quotes as well. On of them is-

We are each individuals, but the far greater thing is what we are together, and if that isn’t protected or cherished, we are headed to a bad place.

It is a perfect work of fiction which is equally touching. Overall a remarkable debut by this author!

Paradise Song

In the world of Hatredness, Full of agony and restlessness
Sing me a song of Paradise

In this world of Cruelty
Where faith is not humanity
Sing me a song of Paradise

Where humanity creeps
In the valley of corrupt powers
Sing me a song of paradise

That song of love
That love Bathed in sacrifice
Sing me that song of Paradise !

Finding Paradise

Daily Prompt- Place

The space where,
Respect lingers in the valley of Religions,
Love flows in the River of struggle,
Lotus blooms in the pond of compassionate tears
Where is that paradise on earth?

The place where,
Humanity lingers freely,
Guided by the light of that one God.
A mother is not worried,
For the protection of her little child.
Where is that Paradise on earth?

A heaven where,
There is no Bloodshed,
There is only greed of sharing love,
There is only support for the weak,
And the people are not separated by wealth.
Where is that Utopian World?
