Understanding Free Will

Many believe that our paths are laid out long before we are born and continue to another after we perish.

Is it true that our lives are predetermined? Is it right to say that we are puppets of a higher order?

In the world of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, the brain is coded to perform certain predetermined tasks. This system never deters from it’s command when it is left to perform since it doesn’t have conscience.

But with humans this may or May not be true. Let’s try to understand this.

There are 2 things predetermined for us- Life itself and death, the beginning and the end. There is no free will to control that. But everything in between is quite bewildering. We come across so many people throughout our lives, live in different surroundings and are influenced by these elements in some or the other way. These influences affect us to take different paths as per our motivations.

In a way we constantly deter from our usual course and work or behave under the influence of something throughout our lives. This cannot be coded by someone before our lives. Here we can say that free will exists in the form of collective consciousness.

But does free will means we can bounce back and fourth in time as per our freedom?

Some scientists will say we can, we just need to grow with our knowledge. But for now we think that time is linear, it proceeds uniformly, Eternally into infinity.
There is no beginning and end in the never ending circle of time. Past, present and future are just illusions in that circle where you can’t differentiate which is which.

If we know our fate in the future would it force us to take decisions to change that?

Well in absolute or broader terms we at least know that we are going to die one day. So all our decisions may take different paths but all those paths would lead to the same point, death. The Circle of time will continue, life to death, death to life, past to future and future to past. But there are some hard questions to answer.

If life and death are inevitable and the end result is death then what we do in between may not be significant .

What’s our purpose then? Our existential crisis?

Here’s my opinion-
When you look at the celestial bodies like Sun and Earth, when you look at nature, trees and plants, you will see that irrespective of their fate they carry on to do their job that is to create light and sustain life .They live in the present and fulfil their purpose that is to Give.

A life has no meaning if it doesn’t touches another life positively. Love, Compassion, empathy, humility, kindness and respect give meaning to a life, give purpose to our lives. The happiness which we feel when we do something for others.

If we live in the hearts of the generation to come then we live forever, this is our free will. The contentment which it brings is too great to express in terms of science.

Our existence depends on both science and philosophy, both are significant. Science shows us the path, Philosophy teaches us how to live that path. This is our absolute purpose even if there is nothing absolute in the universe.

So free will exists in between life and death, it is our present which gives us the ultimate boon of free will.
We may not be present in the form of matter in the future but our existence may survive in time through our Karma in the hearts of others. And maybe that Karma is the God we question so often!

Live in the present, stay blessed!

The Arrow of Entropy

Arrow of time
Pushing us forward to chaos
Our order is melting
With increasing disorder

Aging is difficult
With fears capturing our mind
A man becomes pessimist
With the ticking of clock

This is the law of nature
Law of science
Every system is bound
To collapse or Die

But we have the power
To delay this demon
With firing our love
And Cleansing with compassion

My Life, Our lives

My Life
An ordinary one
My thoughts
May not be significant
But still for those of you
Who think I’ve touched you
You are just like me
Pain, dejection, loss
Have hurt us
Sharing, empathy, love
Have overwhelmed us
Our defeats are small
Just a blink of cosmos
When we stood Bravely
Against the headwind
Our stories
Maybe forgotten with time
But if we live in the memories
Of a single life
Our purpose is fulfilled

Sail through

Sail through
With the faith
Your pursue

Religions are modes Of transport and all roads lead to one ultimate goodness.

Respect other vehicles on the road because we all have to reach smoothly and safely to the same destination.

Also respect pedestrians who are atheists as they too are walking on the same path towards the same Ultimate destination.

Being Pessimistic

Years of failure
No reward to show
Hopelessness rules it all
There’s no chance to grow

Pessimist believe
The world is nasty
Either you are condemned
Or you fail to understand

Pessimism might save you
By taking precautions
But it might hinder
The growth you want often.

The world wants both
Pessimists and optimists
As the world desires
Growth with some precautions

Failures

The agony of failures, the misery of a failed man is extremely hard to comprehend. After many failures, he gains nothing but pessimism and frustration. It is very difficult to get out of that jail and start fresh.

You try to lift yourself up again. You try to be optimistic about your failures and you can only do that by constantly looking for ways or things to inspire yourself. You try to persuade yourself that this time you will get.

If you fail again, then what?

It is quite human that after years of failures you loose hope, you loose energy or motivation to start again. You think that you have fallen into the deepest pit. That is the hardest place to get out of.

But you have to live and for that you must try to stand up, again. You will be hit hard with those punches life throws at you but you have to survive. You have to try to motivate yourself.

But how to motivate yourself?

Maybe, failures are nothing but a state of mind. It could be a tiny ripple in the mighty ocean. You should try to live your life by doing things you love most, your hobby (or create a hobby). Sometimes you loose your way and forget about the things you love most. It is time to get back to that. The secret of happiness is something to do.

Write, sing, play guitar or do whatever you love to do. I bet, you will find solace in That. When it comes to me, writing soothes me, music heals me.

Life is a long journey. Let’s complete this journey together by making connections. This is the right path towards happiness and contentment.

Stay happy, readers!

A beautiful day in the woods

Drenched in the dirt
Of corrupted society
Suffocated in the smoke
Of polluted city
I longed nothing but
To get out of my anxiety

Far away in the mountains

I walked with the river
Swam with the icy breeze
Felt my life, my sunrise
With the sun shining
Through the misty pines
And snowy peaks.

In The North

The earth is burning,
The soil is dying,
Masses are tormented,
By the Flames
In the North.

The Sun
Showering embers,
The winds Blowing fire,
The Home is in peril,
Our home in the north.

Heaven we seek,
To the south ,
We Retreat
But the heart never blooms
Away From the north.

And then we see
The monsoons
From the heaven,
Quenched our Land
And our hearts
In the North.
