Many believe that our paths are laid out long before we are born and continue to another after we perish. Is it true that our lives are predetermined? Is it right to say that we are puppets of a higher order? In the world of Artificial Intelligence and robotics, the brain is coded to perform […]
If you see some pictures of Lord Shiva ,there is a third eye on his forehead which is mostly half closed. This third eye is highly symbolic.
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shiva is the God of destruction, he is also the Beginning of Creation. In fact, his ‘Tandav’ dance symbolises cosmic dance of the universe, which is the cycle of creation , preservation and Destruction.
Whenever corruption and sins go out of proportion in the universe, Lord Shiva opens his third eye to destroy them and bring balance or order in this world. There are various interpretations about it.
One such theory is that , since Lord Shiva is Yogi his third eye symbolises inner eye or spiritual eye which see the world beyond the material world.
When our two eyes become blind or get lost in the gloom and corruption of the material world then we have to try to see through our inner eye which is obviously difficult.
While our two physical eyes see the world and get lost in the illusion of past and future, our inner eye exist in the eternal ‘Now’ and helps us to know the real meaning of our existence.
This inner vision is a practice, a kind of meditation which enables us to live in the present which is devoid of any negativity of past and future. It calms us , give us peace and help us to see the physical world with a broader perspective.
Today is Mahashivratri, the great night of the lord Shiva. It is the night of unison of Shiva and Shakti (union of Universe’s Dark Matter and energy)– the embodiment of love, power, and oneness. May this occasion opens the inner eye of this already troubled world and brings happiness and peace in this world.
Skepticism is good. In order to know the answer , you need to question. Our sages in the Vedic period were great skeptic and so they spend their lifetime in search of knowledge, light or truth and achieved a lot. That is how we got our country’s name Bharat ( India) in hindi meaning- the […]
There’s a haze in the city Even the morning isn’t pretty You breathe in Sulphur From the burning rubber Your lungs fight with methane Now your life has become a bane
Oh pretty oxygen Where you are? We all are searching Another Noah’s Arc Where can I find That morning glow? Where the mornings Are refreshing And nature refreshes soul!
Lord Shiva is not only a deity of Hindus but also the symbol of dark energy and matter. More than 90 percent of our universe comprises Dark matter and energy.
Both dark energy and matter do not come in contact with normal matter and that’s why we can’t perceive it. But it has a force which is helping in the expansion of our Universe. All matter perceivable to us comes from this unknown source.
It is or He is both the creator and the destroyer in our universe . Here’s a poem dedicated to Lord Shiva on the occasion of Shivratri
In the beginning Life sparked from his singularity And There began circle of mortality From Life to death And death to life The Circle continue With his cosmic dance He is the beginning He is the end His light is beyond Everyone to understand. His symphony is creation His song is destruction His glory will continue Eternally for everyone.
The moons revolve around planets, the planets revolve around the sun, the sun revolves around the massive black hole in the centre of our galaxy and our galaxy revolves around other galaxies. Everything in the universe is connected , all depend on each other for their survival and continuosly look for reasons or insipirations from their surroundings to thrive. Maybe that’s how the life suppose to be, the continuous struggle to motivate and inspire yourself to be happy!
If you are breathing, you got to find some goal , otherwise there is no reason of all this. Sometimes it is tough to do that but it is the only way forward. You got to remember one thing in life that it is imperfect. All the negative elements- dejection , frustation, defeats, losses, apathy, sufferings do not last forever. Infact these experiences just increase the taste of happiness when you finally…
Thermodynamics 1st law (conservation of energy )and life and death-
Energy and soul can never be created nor they can be destroyed but they can be transformed from one form to the another. Ice melts in the surrounding to become water, in the same way when body becomes weak, its soul transfer into the universe to take another form .In philosophy, we call it Reincarnation.
Boson (force particle) or God particle- Force is present everywhere in the universe, planets are attracted towards each other and also towards sun. The sun and other stars are attracted towards the massive black hole in the centre of our galaxy and galaxies are attracted towards each other. Therefore the force particle or God is everywhere and every matter in the universe are created and holded together by force, Hence this is creator or God which is omnipresent, omnipotent and hold us together. In each and every cell, in each and every atom, in each every corner there is God particle! Where there is force(will) there is God ( hope).
Skepticism is good. In order to know the answer , you need to question. Our sages in the Vedic period were great skeptic and so they spend their lifetime in search of knowledge, light or truth and achieved a lot. That is how we got our country’s name Bharat ( India) in hindi meaning- the place where the people are always in the pursuit of light in every phase of time. The modern world try to understand the phenomenon around us with the help of materialistic science, maybe they don’t understand spirituality and how it works. I strongly believe that there is a connection, a duality. We just need to change our perception and conception to look much deeper, within to find our answers. I know for some this is quite a silly way of thinking but these connections cannot be ignored.
Karma and the law of motion–
Karma is your action, your deeds which effects your future. Your good Karma leads towards future happiness and your bad Karma leads towards future sufferings. What goes around , comes around in the wheel of life in the universe. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, that’s what it says in the modern world.
Meditation and the law of gravitation–
In the Vedic period the sages did extraordinary things like lifting things above the ground just by focusing, but its a myth, how they did that. Meditation is a common practice to enhance your focusing power and even the West has embraced this in the form of Yoga. Your thoughts have mass( maybe negligible), so law of gravity can be applied on this and so it has the power to attract to bring changes in our lives. We enhance that power through meditation. When large number of people in a Church, temple or mosque concentrate on idols or some other thing, they hormonize the mass of their thoughts to create a much greater mass or force to effect our surroundings. Sometimes those blessings work. The noetic science is working on the same concept.
Every body in the universe attracts each other with a force which is directly proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them, that’s what we call in modern terms.
